We build the programmes for groups with around the following  five themes. It’s possible to include Zero Distance local experience within all the themes. That could be a tasting trip, memorable nature walk, experiencing local history, getting to know people, Finnish homes or various events.

Local lifestyle

Getting acquainted with Finnish people; how they live and what they do with their free time

Building blocks of the programme:

  • visit a Finnish home, summer cottage, allotment garden or other place
  • attend local events related to music, theatre, sports etc
  • shopping
  • Finnish food, tasting trips, cooking
  • living in the countryside, organic food production

Luxury in the wild

Spending time outside the city, enjoying nature -but within a short distance to civilisation.

Building blocks of the programme:

  • nice cottage or a picnic area
  • real fire
  • clean water
  • natural peace
  • good local food
  • sauna
  • forest trip, nature activities, food from fresh, local produce, herb course, berry picking trip
  • try your own wilderness skills
  • guide services during the whole trip

Play’n Rest

Going for an adventure but not forgetting the mindfulness.

Building blocks of the programme:

  • Eventful adventures in nature: canoeing, ocean trip, rock climbing, skiing, horse trekking, dog sledding, reindeer sledding, safari with snowmobile, ATV or snowcat
  • Quiet nature moments: picking berries or mushrooms, camp fires, picking wild herbs or flowers, fishing, yoga or meditation in the forest, sauna & swimming

 

Fab Finland

Getting to know the urban lifestyle and visiting the must-see spots.

Building blocks of the programme:

  • traditional city sightseeing
  • the most important sights
  • trendy / local food
  • go deeper:  hidden gems of locals
  • design, architecture, history

Professional Finland

Building blocks of the programme:

  • business visits
  • visits to public sector organisations
  • visits to educational, health care, child care and elderly care facilities
  • theme days eg. visits to local designer companies or museums, sustainable development and organic food themes, energy production themes
